Baishali Chakraborty is an Indian artist whose practice bridges tradition and modernity through a vibrant and expressive visual language. This versatility reflects her constant exploration and willingness to experiment with the limitless possibilities of painting.

Her artistic inclination began during her school years, where sketching and painting became a natural form of expression. In 2018, her engagement with large-format canvases marked a significant turning point, deepening her commitment to painting as both practice and purpose.

Professionally being an MBA in Human Resources, Baishali spent 14 years in the corporate world before choosing to step away from convention and pursue her lifelong passion for art. What began as a personal creative pursuit gradually evolved into a professional practice and an independent artistic venture.

For Baishali, painting is a meditative experience—a space of calm and introspection. The act of engaging with the canvas brings her peace and fills her life with colour. Through her work, she invites viewers to experience that same sense of harmony, energy and connection.
